Terms and conditions
These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between ID-Insects/VDM-Insecthouse and the Customer for any use by the Customer of the site assigned for online sales https://www.vdm-insecthouse.com.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing between the parties, the relationship between ID-Insects/VDM-Insecthouse and its customers is subject to these General Terms and Conditions, which are recognized and accepted by the customer. The General Terms and Conditions are available in French, Dutch and English.
The Customer declares that he/she has the legal capacity to enter into a contract, which means he/she is of the minimum legal age and is not under supervision or guardianship.
Every order is equivalent to the acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sales by the buyer.
Generally, the liability of ID-Insects/VDM-Insecthouse is excluded from any inability to carry out its contractual obligations in the event of force majeure or act of God, including, without this list being exhaustive: disruption or partial or full industrial action, in particular to the postal services, means of transport and/or telecommunications, fire, flood, natural disaster, breakdown of the internal or external electricity supply, and generally, any event outside the control of ID-Insects/VDM-Insecthouse that does not allow it to properly complete orders and manage the website.
Your right to return the order within 7 days of receipt
The Belgian law on trade practices and the information and protection of consumers of 14 July 1991 allows the purchaser to inform the seller that they have decided not to proceed with purchase within 7 working days of receipt of the item. The goods must follow (unopened) within an acceptable period after this announcement (e.g., 3 working days).
If you wish to return a product because you have changed your mind, you can do so within 7 days of receipt. We will refund your order as soon as we have received the returned product. You will have to pay for the shipping fees to return the product.
Applicable law / Disputes
This contract is subject to Belgian law. The language used in this contract is French/Dutch/English. In the event of a dispute, the Parties will attempt to reach an amicable settlement. Failing this, the Parties hereby acknowledge the sole jurisdiction of the Courts in Brussels [Justice of the Peace of the 3rd district of Brussels] and that Belgian law only shall apply. For private individuals, the Court with jurisdiction in the event of a dispute will be the Court at the place where the defendant is domiciled or, at the defendant’s discretion, at the place where the product was effectively delivered.
Customs duties
Any order placed on the Website and delivered outside of the European Union is subject to potential customs duties levied when the parcel arrives at its destination. Consumers are responsible for and must pay these potential customs duties linked to the item’s delivery. ID-Insects/VDM-Insecthouse is not responsible for verifying and informing customers of applicable customs duties and taxes. For more information on this subject, please consult your country’s relevant authority.
The French and English translations of these general terms and conditions of use are solely provided for information. In the event of a dispute, only the Dutch language version of these general terms and conditions of use shall apply.
